How to register for the competition?

1. Click on the registration link and submit the required information accordingly.

• Register now roiquant preseed startup competition registration

• Applicants are required to submit all required information, such as:

  • Brief profile information about the founder(s).

  • Brief information about company (if you have incorporated your company), business idea, product-or-service, and so on.

  • 3 minutes introductory video showcasing your product-or-service by demonstrating that your minimum viable product (MVP) or prototype is functional and working, as well as introducing your team of co-founders.

  • Pitch deck (mandatory) and/or business plan (optional).

• Applicants participating as a team should appoint a leader to submit the registration on behalf of the team.

2. After the submission of your registration, all applicants are required to create an account with roiquant.

• Applicants participating as a team may each create a roiquant account, should all team members desire to access roiquant solutions.

• However, only the team leaders should participate in the competition by regularly using our roiquant solutions.

  • Every participant is assessed and evaluated on your business plan, pitch deck, performance traction (customer validation with your MVP), financials, and live pitches, as well as from the performance scores from using our roiquant solutions.

3. Once your roiquant account is created, kindly proceed to create your profile and submit all relevant company information on roiquant.

• Applicants are required to submit all of the required information in full completion.

  • Click on the help icon on the top nav bar.

  • Then, click on Data contribution

    • *Disclaimer: We’re improving this feature where the data input will be a smoother process, and we’ll publish the data after you’ve submitted them. For the time being, just make sure you keep a record of what you’ve entered as a back-up. Or, you can wait for our announcement about the improvement and then proceed to create your profile to enter your company information then.

4. Applicants who are approved will receive a confirmation email and their free roiquant accounts will be upgraded to Pro Plan for 3 months (April-June 2023).

• For teams who would like to have free access to roiquant solutions, please remind your team leaders to identify the names of your entire team members.

  • Even though only the team leaders will be using roiquant solutions to participate in our competition, team members are encouraged to use roiquant solutions and contribute your research findings to your team leaders.

  • We will only be tracking the performance scores of your team leaders and will ignore the scores of the team members.

  • Therefore, it is important for team members to share your research findings with your team leaders so that they may update the inputs in their accounts accordingly.

5. If you are interested in joining the AWS Activate Portfolio program, you may only apply once you have successfully completed step 1 to 3 as mentioned above.

• Currently, our AWS Activate Portfolio program is only available to the participants of our competition.

• If you failed to follow and complete the instructions as mentioned above, your pre-application to the AWS Activate Portfolio program will be declined.

• The AWS Activate Portfolio program is only limited to 1 company (team) and team members are not advised to apply multiple times, which will be declined anyway.
